Michelle Lee is a law clerk at Rock Trade Law LLC, where she assists attorneys with matters involving U.S. Customs and international trade.

She is a second-year J.D. student at Georgetown University Law Center pursuing a Certificate in WTO and International Trade Studies. At Georgetown Law, she serves as a staff editor for the Georgetown Journal of International Law, a Student Fellow with the Institute of International Economic Law, a member of the John H. Jackson WTO Moot Court Competition team, and a research assistant to Professor Yvonne Tew.

During her 1L summer, Michelle was the first-ever intern at the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI) Washington, D.C. office, where she supported senior government officials and the MITI Malaysia team during their visit to D.C. for tariff negotiations.

Michelle earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington State University, where she majored in Political Science and minored in Global Studies. Prior to law school, she worked as an intellectual property paralegal and interned with several non-profit organizations in Malaysia.
